The Illustratoren Organisation supports its members in promoting their work, offering a portfolio on the IO website, and by participating at the bookfairs of Frankfurt, Leipzig and Bologna. Strictly reserved to members are a rights- insurance, the juridical consultation via media law experts, common basics of contract law, salary examples, and an online forum with information and discussions about jobspecific subjects. This forum is, thus, a permanent illustrators’ meeting, a gathering of specialists for the, in their daily work rather solo-fighting artist natures. With (free) regional internet portfolios at Berlin, Leipzig, Köln-Bonn and Frankfurt, Switzerland a.s.o., the IO wants to strengthen the creative centers of illustration, and keep the the spectrum of offerings for the customer easy to survey and attractive.
